Kahmann Gallery presents New York, New York, showing work by Barry Kornbluh, Maura Sullivan, Nathan Harger, William Klein, Arnold Newman, Duane Michals, Ralph Gibson, Walker Evans and Helen Levitt.
In this exhibition photographers who captured the New York of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and its remarkable - famous or not - citizens are shown next to contemporary photographers who give their own personal interpretation of the (arguably) greatest city in the world. In this way, the exhibition will give an original and unexpected representation of one of the most photographed cities in the world, past and present.
The exhibition will run from May 16 through June 28, 2014
