Paolo Ventura’s large color photographs are on display in “War Souvenir.” The photographs depict fictional World War II narratives set in occupied Italy. Mr. Ventura creates miniature period settings, populating them with customized and costumed G.I. Joe dolls. He is based in Brooklyn and Milan, and has also worked as a fashion photographer.
