"As a funny short story, I'm reminded of the way I showed my work for the first time to one of the galleries I still work with. They had first become interested in my work through the pictures I had sent them but, logically, they wanted to see it in person. So I loaded everything I could fit in my car and went to Madrid, where we had agreed to meet. The funny thing is that I showed them my work at an underground garage in Las Cortes. Right there, surrounded by dozens of cars coming in and out, I unloaded my pieces and showed them an improvised exhibit, leaning the drawings, paintings and sculptures against nearby cars as well as my own. The thing is they liked it and we've been working together ever since".
