MARIEVIC [b. Paris, France] is a visual artist currently living and working in New York City. She graduated from École Spéciale d’Architecture and received an MFA from Parsons The New School for Design. MARIEVIC’s work varies widely in its medium; upon projects, her studio produces sculpture, photography and video. She considers the fetishized cultures of consumption and gives a careful look to changing conceptions of luxury and disposability. Her projects are visual idioms that explore the contemporary cultural landscape, and exist within the liminal space of interstitial paradigms.

Her work has been exhibited at Red Bull Arts (New York), Eyebeam (New York), Palais de Tokyo (Paris), MOCA (Toronto), MuCEM (Marseille), Stems Gallery (Bruxelles), Eigen+Art (Berlin), Magda Danysz Gallery (Paris). As well as featured in Nowness, Visionaire, i-D, Vogue, W Magazine, Wallpaper and Vice.

In 2015, she won an award for Blowing Riccardo at the Fashion Film Festival Milano. In 2018, she won the Lishui International Photography Biennal award for Uniclones.

She is also the author of project on legendary architect François Roche, Who Are You François Roche? which accompanied his retrospective.
